Toli Studios · Accra, Ghana

We're Toli!

A small studio making original stories from Ghana. We ideate, write, draw, animate and build them, then grow them into worlds you can read, watch, play and whatever else we can dream of.

Why "Toli"?

toli /ˈtɔ.li/ · Ghanaian slang · rooted in Ga

Gossip. The juicy news. The talk of the town. A tall tale stretched just far enough to be fun.

That's what we make: stories so good you have to pass them on. And you can't tell toli quietly, hence the !

psst, it starts with gossip

How a Toli story grows

Ideate

It starts as a "what if" in a group chat or a notebook. A wild dog in a hoodie. A frisbee that won't land.

Write

We find the story inside the idea: who it's about, what they want, and why it could only happen here.

Draw

Comics come first. Pages, panels and covers, made with artists like Moyo Macauley.

Animate

Then the characters move. Short pieces first, bigger things after.

Play

Some stories work best when you hold the controls. Blewu started that way.

Own!

Every story we make is original IP. We build worlds we keep, grow and take to new formats.
