O! Scout
toli's lookout. First to every new world, usually on a skateboard from Skam!
Where: Rides the work rail on the home page, searches the 404, guards your data on the privacy page.
Meet the cast!
Two kinds of characters live on this site. One kind is toli talking to you. The other kind is the stories themselves.
Bots = toli, talking
Built from the strokes of the logo. They run the site: the menus, the psst bubbles, the footer, the 404, your Club card.
Ink creatures = the stories
Drawn in brush and ink. They wander in from our story world: one visits the home page each time you come by.
The bots
toli's voice. If something on the site talks to you, it's one of these three.
Flip
Folds open to whisper the good stuff. Psst.
Where: The psst bubbles, the cookie banner, the shredder on the privacy page.
Echo
Says the best bits twice. Says the best bits twice.
Where: Your default Club companion. Waves from every footer, zips gossip shut, says goodbye on unsubscribe.
The ink creatures
Studies for the toli story world, warming up before they move. Each has a line it says when it visits the home page.
Scrib
“Found another idea”
Collects unfinished ideas as tangles of ink. Delivers notes, steals stray sketches, leaves a scribbled trail.
Where: Drops "what if…?" notes into the hero.
Ravel
“Ties a thought into a story”
Ties itself into knots when thinking, stretches when excited and unravels when confused.
Where: Writing. Can sit on your Club card.
Hush
“Licked a line under your world”
A shy ink beast with a very loud tongue. Licks lines onto the page, hides in brush blots.
Where: Licks a line under "Worlds" when it visits.
Flick
“Already halfway to the next idea”
A restless little athlete with enormous red ear strokes and spring legs.
Where: Play. Can sit on your Club card.
Tumble
“Rolled in. Startled. Staying.”
Stubborn and easily startled. Folds its paper shell into a ball and rolls into scenes.
Where: Rolls into the hero, then refuses to leave.
Mote WIP
“Still being drawn”
An unfinished paper spirit. Its red fragments orbit, scatter or gather into a cape.
Where: Work in progress.
