The tea on your data!

toli means gossip, the juicy story. Yours isn't one of them. Here's exactly what we keep, why, and how to make us forget it.

The short version

  • We don't sell your data. Not now, not ever.
  • We only keep what the Club needs to make your card and email you.
  • Google Analytics only runs if you say "Sure" to cookies.
  • Want out? Email us and you're gone. No hard feelings.

What we keep when you join the Club

  • Your name, the one you put on your card.
  • Your email, so we can send Club drops.
  • Your companion, the character on your card.
  • Your country, worked out roughly from your connection. It's how we know toli fans in Lagos from toli fans in London.
  • Your card number and when you joined. No. 0001 earned that.

That's it. No passwords, no phone number, no payment details. We're not selling anything yet.

Things we will never know: your MoMo PIN, who you're crushing on, and the family toli from last Christmas. Keep those.

Your card is public (on purpose)

When you join, you get a card page with its own link so you can flex it. Anyone with that link can see your name, companion and card number. Never your email.

The link is random, so nobody can guess it. It only travels as far as you share it.

What we do with it

  • Send you a welcome email and toli news: first looks, early game access, new issues.
  • Let the founders know someone new joined. (We do a little dance.)

We'll only email you about toli. Had enough? Every email has an unsubscribe link. One tap and we stop. Your card stays yours.

Cookies and counting visits

When you first visit, we ask if we can use Google Analytics. It uses cookies to tell us which pages people like. Say "No thanks" and it never loads.

We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without following you around the web.

Who else touches it

A few trusted services help us run the site. They handle your data for us, not for themselves:

  • Cloudflare hosts the site and stores the Club list.
  • Resend sends our emails.
  • Google serves our fonts, and runs Analytics if you said yes.

toli is for everyone, but the Club is for ages 15 and up. If you're younger, ask a grown-up to join with you.
